To answer this question, you must understand what you need to pay for. We will drill down through the components of a destination wedding, keeping in mind that all weddings are unique, and this is based on today’s trends.
Our Indian Destination Wedding team are experts organizing traditional Sikh, Hindu, Gujarati, Christian or fusion, affordable all-inclusive destination weddings, since 2009. Majority of our weddings take place in Mexico, Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. We are happy to share our extensive experience as South Asian destination wedding planners with our couples and provide them with the best wedding packages and perks in the industry.
Destination Wedding Cost Components:
Based on the number of guests, the right hotel options are presented. The hotel and flights are blocked. Depending on the size of the group, additional deposit may be required to hold the seats. Per guest cost can range from $1500-$3000.
Depending on the time of the year you want your wedding, the cost for your guest to attend will be more during peak season.
After your consultation, you will know 100% which is the best resort for your family and friends. More importantly, inline with bride and groom’s vision, of the perfect destination wedding. Booking, hotel only, is an option for out of town guests. Booking mid week wedding, also cuts costs.
Booking direct flights or connecting through the bride and groom’s city are your options. If your guests are coming from another city, fly them in and have them go with the group. Departure dates and flight times that best suit your needs will be blocked for your group.
Typically, 4 events take place, Welcome party, Mehndi/Sangeet night, Hindu/Sikh/Christian Ceremony and the Reception.
You have the option to use vendors from the destination, but its best to take them with you. They can capture your pre-wedding events that take place locally and its a lot easier to work with them in your own city, before and after the weddings. We negotiate the lowest rates for our clients with out preferred vendors.
We offer you different packages based on the number of guests attending the wedding and how many events you will be holding. You will have budget friendly options of working with our planners locally and from the destination. We have a Mexico based team of planners as well.
The wedding costs will be the same throughout year for the bride and groom. Average cost last year was between $35,000 – $55,000 USD. Lowest $10,000 and Highest $75,000.
